Overview:
Swadeshi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limiteda category “D” National Level financial institution licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank and Government of Nepal, commenced its operation since 31 Dec, 2014 (Poush 16, 2071 BS) under Bank and Financial Institution Act 2003. Being a National Level financial institution, it has planned to serve the underprivileged peoples throughout the nation with stellar track record of increasing profitability, market share and product offerings in couple of year. We would like to introduce ourselves as a National Level Microfinance Institution with its head office at Itahari, Sunsari and regional offices in 5 regions supporting the various branches.
Equity:
The authorized capital of Swadeshi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SLBSL) is Rs. 500 million out of which Rs. 230 million has been issued. The issued capital has been paid up by 70 million from promoters and 30 million from public after IPO. Bonus share of 15 million has also been issued and Right share of 115million shall be issued within the fiscal year 2074/075.
Vision:
Establish as an effective entity for the development of under privileged people with the promising and cost-effective micro-financial tools.
Mission:
Serve the micro-financial services to the poor and underprivileged community by educating them on financial awareness, and micro-entrepreneurial activities.
Working Area:
The working area of the financial institution is throughout the country with its HO at Itahari, Sunsari.
